Five years ago, I faced one of the biggest challenges of my career. A significant investment I believed in, didn’t pan out as expected, leaving me at a crossroads. I then got back involved in the traditional business model and still own and manage a very established traditional retail hardware business. I don’t have to tell you that this involves long hours and huge demands. and I’ve been left wondering: Is this the life I want for the next decade?

I realized I needed to look to pivot—once again—to something more aligned with the freedom, fulfillment, and the relevance I craved.One evening, as I browsed online for inspiration, I stumbled across an opportunity to ‘use my experience and build an online business’. It was like a spark had been reignited in me.
